The IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering brings together researchers and practitioners to share ideas on the foundations, techniques, tools, and applications of automated software engineering. ASE 2009 will include technical papers, experience papers, invited keynotes, tutorials, workshops, tool demonstrations, and a doctoral symposium.

Auckland, the "City of Sails", is New Zealand's largest city with a sub-tropical climate, two harbours, and a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for visitors. ASE 2009 will be held in the Central Business District, around 15km from Auckland International Airport and just up the road from the University of Auckland.
